Going to Lahaul Spiti is like entering a place where everything looks pure and natural. The journey to get there is as amazing as the place itself. Here are the travel paths you can follow to reach Spiti Valley:

Air 

 

  • Reach Spiti via Kullu Airport (Bhuntar), accessible from major cities like Delhi and Chandigarh. Most flights, predominantly Air India, operate in the mornings.
  • Bhuntar Airport, 10 km from Kullu, is the key air gateway to the Himalayas. Single runway, yet equipped with modern infrastructure.
  • Bhuntar offers free luggage facilities, ATMs, and excellent customer service. Immediate taxis and buses are available. Post-landing, grab a taxi or bus to Kaza in Spiti. Alternatively, explore nearby Kullu or the scenic Manali, 50 km away.

Road

Day 1

Arrival Shimla

After reaching we will check-in to the hotel. By Evening roam on Mall Road. Stay overnight at the hotel in Shimla.

Day 2

Shimla- Sangla

On this day, explore Kufri & Narkanda on the way. Head towards the captivating Sangla valley from the verdant mountains to the barren region like glance of Sangla, from this location you will witness the changes in the backdrop and the path leads us to the Sangla Valley, where you can capture some fantastic scenery backdrop of the strikingly magnificent location. We will relax and stay for the tonight at Sangla.

Day 3

Sangla -Nako

After the early breakfast, mobe towards Nako. On arrival, Check in at the hotel or homestay. Enjoy your dinner & stay.

Day 4

Nako-Tabo - Kaza (81 Kilometre/4 Hours)

In today's trail, we will, travel towards Tabo and travel around the famous Tabo monastery. This monastery is more than a 1000 years old and is renowned for its impressive wall paintings and notable mural. Later move to Kaza - the commercial capital of the Spiti valley and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 5

Kaza Local Sightseeing

On this day, we will visit the Ki monastery the biggest monastery located on the top of the hill offering fabulous picturesque views from the location and then, we will move ahead forward from the Kibber village which is positioned just a few miles from the monastery. We will stay overnight in the guest house.

Day 6

Kaza Local Sightseeing

Explore around kaza to Dhankar or else. We will stay overnight in the guest house.

Day 7

Kaza to Sarahan/Rampur

In the early morning after having healthy breakfast get ready to return towards Shimla. After full day drive, arrive at Sarahan/Rampur . We will stay overnight at a hotel.

Sarahan/Rampur to Shimla

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and later check-out from the hotel. Drop to Chandigarh/Kalka railway station to catch train in evening & the tour come to an end.
