Khardung La

At an elevation of 5602 meters, Khardung La is one of the highest motorable roads in India and serves as a gateway to the Shyok and Nubra Valleys. To enter, you’ll need an inner line permit. It is closed from October through May because it is too cold or snowy during this time frame.
